At Abbots Care, we pride ourselves on enhancing the lives of the individuals we support through a person-centred approach that promotes dignity, respect, and personalised care in a supportive and enriching environment.
Abbots Friends is a free, not-for-profit service dedicated to reducing loneliness and social isolation among vulnerable people living in their own homes. While our care teams provide essential daily support, many clients miss out on regular social interaction — and that’s where you come in.
The Role
As an Abbots Friends Volunteer, you’ll provide companionship and build meaningful connections with clients, helping them stay connected to the world around them. Your time, conversation, and presence can greatly improve someone’s wellbeing, confidence, and quality of life.
